This drawing is meant to evoke the first time I saw him on our minuscule, grainy black & white TV. "Tutti Frutti" came out in 1957 and it had to be my introduction to this wonderful world of Rock 'n Roll. In the eyes of a country yokel from Aberdeenshire, the footage set my imagination on fire. Never seen a black face before, never heard anything so good. I was on my way.
