In July 2015, 1000 Foo Fighters fans gathered in the small eastern Italian city of Cesena. It took Fabio Zaffagnini one year to organise the incredible video which blew Dave Grohl's mind. The band wrote “Ci vediamo a presto, Cesena” on their Twitter, and they soon rolled into town to play a 27 song set starting with "Learn To Fly" and ending with the song I've inscribed on his face. An emotional Grohl announced "Tonight, I know, that you know, we’re here for a very special reason. F**kin, thank you. Let me tell you, this has never happened before. This is like the revolution. Who’s in the Rockin’1000? Crazy motherf**kers.
This is a one-off Original piece on Saunders Waterford 300gsm HP paper, using mixed media including Watercolour Paint, Acrylic Paint, Inktense Pencils and occasionally Unison Colour Soft Pastels.
