The markings on shells, tide lines in the sand, the softness of clouds and the shape of our countries all demonstrate the wonders of nature all around us. My love of maps began with wooden jigsaw puzzles I received for my 6th birthday, each nation having its own shape. Ireland always looked magical to me, so 65 years down the road it is no surprise to find her on one of my paintings. Renowned citizens Bono and the Edge look inwards on their land, still looking.
