I was living in South Africa in 1974 which was a very strange experience. Coming from student life in Scotland it was like being in a parallel universe where everything I'd learned was turned upside down. Different rules applied and I didn't seem to fit. On the plus side, nobody was buying the LPs that I liked, so I was picking up bargains for £1or less. One such was "Kimono My House" the 3rd album from Sparks. It remains a favourite into my old age!
