"Samba Pa Ti" was always a favourite of mine. I recall working on Art School projects into the dark winter nights with this lilting melody assisting tricky brush strokes. It came from the fabulous 1970 "Abraxas" and featured the inspirational Mexican, Carlos Santana. His music fused 50s Rock, Jazz & Folk and was ripe for a surprise performance at Woodstock where the band blew the Hippies into outer space.
