This is from a period when I re-discovered the joys of charcoal. It can create a dream-like, out of focus impression that I really like. Very akin to being in a favoured state of drunkenness. My own eye sight is shot thanks to a bout of measles in early childhood. I had to wear Hank Marvin specs throughout school years and was thankful to John Lennon when he made those National Health little round ones trendy. This is how I'm beginning to see my world, it all looks like a Renoir.
This is a one-off Original piece on Saunders Waterford 300gsm HP paper, using mixed media including Watercolour Paint, Acrylic Paint, Inktense Pencils and occasionally Unison Colour Soft Pastels.
