Just returned from a wee break in Belfast where I walked the streets that Van grew up in. Naturally his spirit has been echoing around our house incessantly prior to the trip. His outward grumpiness betrays a very deep soul, his vocals always astound me.
On his jacket the places he moved around as a boy....Cherry Valley, Orangefield, Cyprus Avenue, Castlereagh Hills, Beechie River....
Rave on, Van Morrison...Rave on.
