The idea of depicting a young and old Rock Icon in the same painting came after a dream, as so many do for me. I was in a rambling mansion going from room to room. I started by meeting kids who were in Primary One with me and as I progressed through the house they got older in each room. How we "age" is fascinating and there can't be a better subject on our planet than dear old Keef.
This is a one-off Original piece on Saunders Waterford 300gsm HP paper, using mixed media including Watercolour Paint, Acrylic Paint, Inktense Pencils and occasionally Unison Colour Soft Pastels.
