Dolly Rebecca Parton is the 4th of 12 children from Locust Ridge, Tennessee. I need to know no more about her than the fact her charity (Imagination Library) has given more than 100 million books to youngsters over the years (unlike Aberdeen City Council who think it's a good idea to close libraries...shame on them).
Here she is in denim reclining on the blue grass with a few lines from "Jolene" on her face.
This is a one-off Original piece on Saunders Waterford 300gsm HP paper, using mixed media including Watercolour Paint, Acrylic Paint, Inktense Pencils and occasionally Unison Colour Soft Pastels.
