This is from my favourite Beatles' era. I've inserted the lyric to "Eleanor Rigby" on the tombstone and have all manner of psychedelia behind them from the "Yellow Submarine" movie. Before 1966 my world was monochromatic...this music and imagery opened doors we hadn't imagined...it was formative to say the least, and a foundation for the way I've lived my life. Yes, it meant that much to me and those around me who had their antennae up.
This is a one-off Original piece on Saunders Waterford 300gsm HP paper, using mixed media including Watercolour Paint, Acrylic Paint, Inktense Pencils and occasionally Unison Colour Soft Pastels.
