We have a lot to thank David Bailey for. His photographs are brilliant and record many of our great artists starkly. I used his work to make this painting of Macca, some would say not too flattering but I admire him for posing in such brutal lighting conditions. I would think there is little room for vanity there, probably contrary to opinion. A few lines from "Yesterday" are obviously appropriate. The Beatles altered my life, and thank the Lord for their coming together.
