I started this mixed media painting on hearing the sad news, hoping it would be finished by the time his 83rd birthday comes around on June 20. I have read that those who see auras around us say that purple is the colour of genius, so I have included subtle clouds of that colour around Brian.

This is a one-off Original piece on Saunders Waterford 300gsm HP paper, using mixed media including Watercolour Paint, Acrylic Paint, Inktense Pencils and occasionally Unison Colour Soft Pastels.
