Deep in thought in the late 60s wondering what his future holds.
At Art School we drew and painted antique sculptures of Renaissance masterpieces by the masters. In paint the palette was restricted to black and white oil paint (and all the greys in between), so we laboured over Michelangelo ears, noses, eyes etc. It was extremely difficult, but it taught me a bit about tonal arrangements. It has never been more useful than in this piece. Thank you, Grays.
This is a one-off Original piece on Saunders Waterford 300gsm HP paper, using mixed media including Watercolour Paint, Acrylic Paint, Inktense Pencils and occasionally Unison Colour Soft Pastels.
