When the Doors of Perception are unlocked who knows what we'll discover. Their music still haunts me like no other band. The Electra Label was a Godsend as it started releasing a myriad of new American talent onto our shores just in time for me to get into Art School...perfect timing. 1967 gave us the Doors, Love, Tim Buckley, Paul Butterfield, Judy Collins, the Holy Modal Rounders and many more.
I've been into all of these as I worked though this image. I'm still very moved today.
"This is the end, beautiful friend".
