Albert's quote from my last painting stands up well in this image too. "There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as if everything is." (Albert Einstein). If you are sceptical you'll roll your eyes, but I can only go by personal experience during my own life.
I used to see her after school at Aberdeen's Holburn Junction but met her for the first time last year in Edinburgh's National Portrait Museum. She was taking a photograph of William Burke's death mask (Burke & Hare, 19th century graverobbers) and I complimented her on its spookiness before realising who was taking the photo. A charming lady.
This is a one-off Original piece on Saunders Waterford 300gsm HP paper, using mixed media including Watercolour Paint, Acrylic Paint, Inktense Pencils and occasionally Unison Colour Soft Pastels.
