We went to see "Queen Rock Montreal" at our local IMAX and it did inspire this painting. He was an astounding extrovert on stage and he made it impossible to divert my gaze. Freddie's here in classic confrontational pose, between peacock strutting across his stage and undressing.
"Bismillah" incidentally, is an Arabic phrase meaning "in the name of God, and it is part of the epic "Bohemian Rhapsody."
