Oh well, oh well, I feel so good today because I am over my jet lag and have completed the "Chuck" painting inspired by the man, his lyrics and his deep love of the USA. Music is everywhere in Sin City, most of it very good, but I had this guy on my mind for a lot of the time I was there. I haven't been skiving...we all need to get things off our bucket lists, and this trip has really fired my imagination. "Love" was SO damn good we went twice, so I expect more Beatles paintings will be coming soon.
The first song I heard on a jukebox when I was very young was "Back in the USA" and it gave me a thirst for Rock & Roll that has never been quenched. "Just touched down on an international runway...."
