I made this painting during the hot summer of 2018. 'Jean Genie,' 'Panic in Detroit,' 'Diamond Dogs,' all fantastic songs for a good beer on my balcony as the city droned below me. The sweat literally ran from my face onto the paper I worked on. Like all Bowie fans, I'll never truly get over his death but will always rejoice in his legacy. Where are you now?
This is a one-off Original piece on Saunders Waterford 300gsm HP paper, using mixed media including Watercolour Paint, Acrylic Paint, Inktense Pencils and occasionally Unison Colour Soft Pastels.
